Ekonomizer, egzoz gazının atık ısısını geri kazanmak için kazanın kuyruğundaki dumanın alt kısmına monte edilmiş bir cihazdır.Bu kazan besleme suyunu ısıtır bir ısıtma yüzeyi doymuş su basıncı altında davulYüksek sıcaklıkta duman gazının ısısını emiyor, egzoz gazının sıcaklığını düşürüyor, enerji tasarrufu yapıyor ve verimliliği arttırıyor.
